Encantada herself speaking

I consider myself an ideal base for both nature and culture lovers. For the first group the possibilities of activities are almost endless: short walks or long hikes, mountain biking or cycling, paddling or fishing on the El Fluvià river, horseback riding, going to the beach, playing golf, hot air ballooning, skydiving, etc.

Culture lovers will also enjoy visiting the Dalí Theatre and Museum (Figueres), the Dalí House Museum (Cadaques), medieval villages such as Besalú, Pals, Peratallada, Sant Martí d’Empúries, Vic, Hostalric,… or visiting one of the many well-preserved castles, monasteries, fortresses, ruins,… in the area.

Because of my location in Palau de Santa Eulàlia, a small village completely surrounded by nature, I am part of the Alt Emporda region, Girona, Spain. Although somewhat remote, I am at a stone’s throw from

  • cities like Figueres (13 km – AVE train station), Girona (36 km – airport and AVE train station) and Barcelona (132 km – airport and AVE train station);
  • beaches like those of Sant Martí d’Empúries (18 km), Empuriabrava (25 km) and Roses (30 km);
  • the snowy peaks of Andorra (± 200 km);
  • the French nation at 40km.
